BetOnMarkets is the easy way to forex profit!!

Bet Forex Easy with Betonmarkets - At BetOnMarkets, we believe that everyone should be able to participate in the markets.
So weve made betting on the markets easy to understand, easy to do, and low risk.
Start now with bets as low as A$1 on the worlds major currencies, stock indices, commodities and stocks.

Part 1: Intraday Wagers
A Wager, which is commonly known as bet or stake, is a contract in which two or more parties agreed to paying an amount of money based on the outcome of a defined event. BetonMarkets offers different types of wagers all based on events defined as financial market movements. Some of these can have their outcome the same day you place the bet. These are known as intraday wagers. There are five different types.
Flash Bet. This bet gives you the opportunity to take advantage of almost immediate market movements. They are basically bets on upticks.
In the situation of four minute betting, you place your bet at 14:00:26 GMT that is considered as the start time. Outcome is determined on the next click after the start time, supposedly the next tick happens at 14:00:28 at the value of 121.36 – this tick is called the Entry time and value. By 14:04:26 which is the end time the next tick will determine the exit and calculate your price of winning. At 14:04:28 next tick happens which shows the Exit time and value of 121.32. Since the result shows that the market has risen, you receive a full pay out.
Intraday Up. This bet presents an opportunity to bet that the market rises or falls between two specific times during a current trading session. As a player you will select the starting and end time of the bet and there will be a minimum percentage amount settled on during the time of the play. If the market rises by the minimum percentage amount between the start and end of the bet then you receive your payout, otherwise the bet ends without a value (even if the market rises less that the minimum percentage amount).
Example. In an Intraday Up play start time of 11:00 and end time of 16:00, the value of the market by 11:00 is 116.10 (minimum percentage amount is 0.03% of 116.10). The market should rise by 0.03483 which should be higher than 116.13 (rounded to the nearest tick) by the end time of 16:00 for you to get a payout.
Double Up. This is a bet that the market will rise or fall between the time you place the bet and the expiry of the trading session. It’s a double or nothing bet with a small spread to have to clear to be considered a winner.
Super Double. Is the for the development of the market at three specific time points during the trading session. This play gives an excellent payout, returning four times the amount wagered. You need to be correct twice in order to win.
Example. On a Super Double you bet that the market will rise between 9:00 to 11:00 and will rise again between 11:00 to 1:00, and if you are right then you are four times richer.
Intraday wagers a very popular at BetonMarkets. In part two of this article we will start to take a look at some longer time frames.
Part 2:
Boundaries, Ranges, and Touches
This is the second of the three part article that discusses the types of wagers used by players at Betonmarkets.
Expiry Bets
Bull / Bear Bet. This bet permits you to predict the outcome of the market, if it will be above or below the specific given target at the specific given date (can be 2 – 180 days after the time the bet was place). Your payout will be given if the market is strictly above or below the target you have chosen.
Example.
(Bull bet) I bet to win 50 if the market rises above 4393 in 14 days.
(Bear bet) I bet to win 50 if the market is below 4393 in 14 days.
Expiry Range. This bet is somewhat similar to Bull/Bear except you need to be specific on the range in which the market will lie by the end of the period. In other words you are attempting to confine it between two levels but only the day the wager expires matters.
Example. I bet to win 50 if the market is between 4200 and 4450 in 14 days.
Expiry Miss. A bet that the market lies below the lower target level or above the higher target level by the time the bet expires. The reverse of an Expiry range.
Boundary Bets
Here you are allowed to bet whether or not the market wil reach a specific value. There will be an early expiry if the chosen level is touched (even once) between the specified time frame even if the level is not sustained for very long.
In other words you are attempting to confine it between two levels and the market can never breach either extreme..
One Touch Bet. This bet pays if the market touches a specific target barrier at least once before the bet expires.
Example. I bet to win 50 if the market touches 4450 level within 14 days.
No Touch Bet. The opposite of one touch bet, full payout is given if the market never touches the target barrier you have chosen before the bet expires.
Example. I bet to win 50 if the market never touches 4450 level within 14 days.
Barrier Range. This is like a double no touch bet. Player will choose two specific barriers and if the market never touches any of them before the bet expires, the full amount of payout will be given.
Example. I bet to win 50 if the market never touches 4450 and 4600 within 14 days.
Double Touch Bet. The exact opposite of Barrier Range, full payout is handed if both barriers are touched within the time frame. Pays good odds.
Example. I bet to win 50 if the market touches 4450 and 4600 within 14 days.
Up or Down. In this bet the full payout is received if the market touches either of the two target level specified before the bet expires.
Example. I bet to win 50 if the market touches 4450 or 4600 within 14 days.
Contra / Double Contra Bet. In this bet only one of the two barriers should be touched to get the full payout.
Part 3:
The Rest
This is the last of the three part article that discusses the types of wagers used by players at BetonMarkets.
Stop Bets
Bull Stop. This bet unlike others pays you a fixed amount for every 1% rise in the market. Like if your bet pays $10 for every 1% rise on the market, in the instance that the rise is only .5% then your value will rise by $5, as the market swings back and forth the value of your money will differ depending how much % the market rises.
However, this bet is also a One Touch stop loss wherein you need to set a stop-less level and in any case that the market touches that level once ot trades under that level, at anytime the bet will expire.
Note: The stop-loss level is used as a reference value for the 1% amount to be calculated. Also for Stop bets on Forex rates there is no specified date expiry, the bet stays “alive” for as long as the stop-loss level is not reached. While stop bets for individual stocks have an expiration of one trading day – value is automatically settled at the close of trading same day the bet is placed.
Bear Stop. Opposite of the bull stop where you will be paid a fixed amount for every 1% fall on the market. Same rules applies as the bull stop bet, your value swings back and forth depending on the movement of the market, a stop-loss level is set every game and will be used as a reference value for the payout.  Same rules apply for the time frame for both Forex rate play and individual stocks.
Tick Trades / Fun Corner
These bets are random wins and there is really no telling whether you will win or not; it all depends on luck. So I really don’t recommended these for serious players.
Run Bets. A series of bets that depend on the digits of various indices.
Up / Down. Here can will double your stake if you calculate whether the market will rise or fall after 5 ticks.
Lucky 10 Digits. Make your money 10 times higher by guessing the last decimal digit of the market after 5 ticks.
Quick 10%. Make 10% profit value by predicting thst the number you choose will not be the last decimal digit of the market after 5 ticks.
Stats. You will draw a pie chart of your guess of the last tick. You may select the number of ticks from 25 – 20,000.
Run Bet Jackpot. A bet in which the result depends on the participation of the other player.
Platonic Bet. Bet that depends on a random number.
Public Orders. These are bets coming from other BOM users that wish to dispose their bets early. Sometimes bets are sold on a discounted price but generally you’ll rarely find many contracts to trade here. Public orders have two types.
• Contracts that ate available for purchase
• Contracts available for selling short
Those are the different types of bets / wagers that you can use for betting, but basically you need to learn first and see which is best to use for your particular mentality and risk tolerance.

Breath of Death VII The Beginning

The Short

Pros
- Entertaining JRPG parody that lampoons both the genre and other retro games
- A solid JRPG in its own right, with an interesting and unique "escalating enemy strength" mechanic
- Looks straight out of the NES era
- Dialogue is entertaining and its story is wonderfully stupid
- Music is decent, with a solid battle theme
- Only $1 on Xbox Live Indies

Cons
- Only about three hours long
- Random battles are frequent, and can get dull (except bosses)
- Some of the dungeons seem unnecessarily long and poorly designed
- Wish there was more dialogue and less of me wandering around stupid dungeons

If youve played Dragon Warrior on the NES, this might look a little familiar.

The Long

The minute I saw the title of Breath of Death VII: The Beginning I knew something was either very wrong or very right. When I booted up the game to an intro with captions about "20XX" I knew Id made a right choice. Breath of Death VII is an entertaining if somewhat simple parody of ye olde JRPG days, and it does a lot right, a little wrong, and a bunch just ok. But for $1 and three hours of your time, you cant really go wrong.

Now that Ive done my concluding paragraph as the opening paragraph, lets do the now-redundant innards of this review.

This is really startin to look familiar

Breath of Death VIIs story is just about as nonsensical and silly as Final Fantasy VIIs story (ZING!). In the bleak future of 20XX, all people are dead, and all that remains are...the undead? Yep, everybody in this game is a dead and some variation of ghost/zombie/skeleton/vampire/etc. Bleak future, I guess. Anyway your skeleton, Dem (as in "Dem Bones?") doesnt ever say anything except "..." (mostly because he doesnt have a tongue or voice box or any other such stuff...making him a literal "Silent Protagonist") and he sets off with a group of people to um...make things right? The story has a super-goofy story where it uses as many excuses as possible to lampoon tropes of the genre, all the way down to the melodramatic, totally absurd final plot twist. While not all the jokes are instant classics, for the most part they at least elicited a chuckle out of me, some causing me to laugh out loud. Its clever enough to push it forward, which is exactly what it needed.

Battle are straight out of Dragon Quest II/III, with a few twists.

Battles are the usual turn-based affair, modeling themselves after the NES Dragon Quest games but with a few modern additions. First off is the monster strength system. Every round that passes, all monsters gain 10% in strength. So your goal is to get done with battle ASAP, least that boss be double-powered very quickly. The second neat addition is the combo system, where certain special moves will gain bonuses based on the number of hits that landed before it, and "Deathblows" will reset the combo but deal massive damage if its high. You could say the combo system is meant to counteract the monster strength one, and it works.

Leveling up is very quick and very rewarding. You gain a set number of boosts, but then you have two choices for what extras your character will get. These allow you to build characters in different ways. Do you want a multi-hitting combo machine or just deal all damage at once? Do you want a mage specific in healing one person well, or all people just decently? Because levels are so fast you can change your specs pretty quick, and just going nuts doesnt screw you over since you can just level to the next boost and fix your mistake.

Branching skill paths arent exactly unique to WRPGs, but in JRPGs its kind of a new thing.

While the core concepts are well and good, the game does stutter a bit. The random encounter rate is insanely high (but thankfully each area has a limited number of encounters; after it drops to zero you are free to walk around in peace unless you manually force an encounter) and in the later levels the limited number is so high it might as well not be there. Once you do knock that number down youll find lots of them are long, obscure mazes, with stupid thinks like branches or bushes forcing you to maze about one way or another. Its an amateurish move to pad the length of the dungeons, and while Im willing to tolerate it early on, the final dungeon is just so stupidly long it is borderline absurd. I can understand its hard to draw graphics for multiple dungeons (I did make several pixelated traditional JRPGs in my day, you know), but the drag gets really frustrating really fast.

This isnt helped by the fact that battles have a weird balance. Sometimes just mashing attack will win, while other times something random will go wrong and youll get completely blasted. I suppose it would be my own fault for not using abilities (it even gives you mana after battles so you are encouraged to use them), but the fact that the difficulty can spike from "easy" to "death" between identical encounters indicates a balance problem. Its either really easy or really hard, and once you find a routine you can just plow through 90% of the enemies without thinking. Level grind just a little and this game is cake.

The graphics have a retro charm, but they could still have done better.

The graphics are retro but not fantastic. It seems they aspired to the Dragon Warrior look of the NES rather than the Castlevania look (meaning: they picked a bland game for their pixel art inspiration rather than a good looking one). Enemies look fine but out of place, clearly not actual pixel art, and some parts of indoors areas have the same issue: they are drawn, and not pixel-by-pixel. The straight pixelation stuff is a bit bland, and while I can forgive a lot as it fits the theme, it could have been done better.

Music is excellent throughout, completely original and faithful to the genre it draws inspiration from. The battle song is catchy and fast (and has a kickin beat), and some area song are actually very moody. They arent Nobou Uematsu or anything, but they work, and work well.

Not too bad for an indie game.

Is Breath of Death VII worth your time? Well, its a buck on XBLA games for a few hours of entertainment and old-school JRPG fun, so Id say if thats your thing than absolutely. Its a bit more on Steam, putting you back $3 instead, but I still think thats a fair price. Thats about $1 an hour, which is about the same deal youd get on a game like Skyrim, so judge accordingly.

You can bury a lot under nostalgia, throwbacks, and parody (hey, look at No More Heroes), but there is a limit to that. Breath of Death VII just barely makes it (probably due to its short length) so its still worth checking out, just know it hasnt exactly beaten the tropes it lampoons so heavily.

Three out of five stars.

Or maybe some better dungeons.

Magic the Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012

The Short

Pros
- Ten new decks with new styles and variety of play
- Multiple single-player and a three player co-op campaigns
- Improved deck customization that is at least a little more robust than its predecessor
- "Archenemy" mode is fun and very, very hard. Get two friends, not bots!
- Unlocking cards can still be just as addicting and fun as before
- Small UI changes make for a faster and smoother experience

Cons
- Though the load times are better, they are still way longer than they should be
- AI seems dumber in this game for some reason, at least when they are on your team
- Only one background to play on. The original had like four; what gives?
- DLC decks are still here, even though this game was released only a year after the first one
- I really dont like the idea of making this an annual thing, especially since the Green and Red decks arent that different from the previous games.
- Its still "just Magic."

Here we go again.

The Long

Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 (heretofore referred to as Magic 2012 because good grief why is that title so long?) is the follow-up to last years iteration because it sold really well and if theres anything Magic: The Gathering fans enjoy its spending more money. It touted a list of improvements before release, claiming to have better deck customization, more decks, and general improvements.

I honestly kind of find this game hilarious, for these reasons: The original wasnt exactly groundbreaking or anything. They tried to make it sound cool, but it was just Magic. Which, again, is fine, but its still just freaking Magic. Then this second game comes out and they are like "we are ramping it up!" and its the exact freaking game as the first game, which in turn is the exact freaking same thing as Magic: The Gathering.

These guys are like the most ambition-less people Ive ever seen.

Three vs one. The mighty fight battle begins.

So...what is different? I could just sum up this review by saying "not enough, but if you like Magic you bought it already so..." but that would be a cop-out. So Ill briefly (yeah right; youve read my other reviews, Im wordy as balls) go over the changes between Magic 2012 and Magic: The Gathering DOTP.

First, the load times are better. My biggest complaint from #1 has been...not fixed, actually, but at least improved. Load times are still longer than they should be, but 15-30 seconds is a lot better than a freaking minute (I timed it the first time) so...good on them. At his rate Magic 2013 might actually load in a normal, reasonable amount of time. Hey, off subject, remember God of War? Or Gears of War? Those games with way better graphics that had no loading times at all after an initial one? Why did I bring this up? No reason, just thought it was interesting.

Second, there is very slightly better deck customization, and unlocking cards is a lot faster. You unlock cards in clumps now (rather than one-by-one; thank goodness) which means you get to the good ones quicker. You can also swap out any cards including ones in the "core" set out and even land to better customize your deck. I guess this is an improvement, but still not being able to pool all my cards and make my own decks is freaking stupid. Thats like the main point of Magic. How did they miss this?

Thats a lot of pizzazz for a freaking Magic card.

Third, theres a new mode called Archnemesis, which is pretty cool. You play 3v1 (with you as the three) against a computer who, every turn, draws a special card that gives him a powerful ability that round. These include summoning powerful creatures for free, forcing players to destroy permanents, and so on. It can be frustrating if you have a run of bad luck, but with friends it can be very fun. Its a pity that actually playing as an Archnemesis is locked behind paid DLC. Of course.

Lastly, you got ten decks instead of eight, and I like these decks a lot better. They are tighter knit, and several actually play completely different than each other. Still no Sliver deck (which was my favorite deck ever and the only one I actually bought cards for) but whatever; theyre all fine. They are also more complex this time around, and they do a good balance of making it so they start off relatively easy and the unlockable cards add depth to the deck. Its cool and works a lot better than in the original, and the better decks mean the game is funner.

That is all the major changes I could think of. The rest of the game is exactly the same. There are still a few things carried over from the original that suck though, so here we go again (in very brief).

Put this deck in the game. I command it.

Attacks still look stupid. Why are the cards just slashing each other? Yeah, you can turn it off, but it still seems real lazy.

While the original at least had variety and choices on what background you could play on (the "table" if you will) this game only has one. Why? Why would you remove options? You could have at least ported the original ones over!

Still have to zoom in on all your cards in order to see what they do. Controls still default to simple, and on advanced it has difficulty determining which card is directionally relative to the one next to it, meaning you can hit "right" to go to a card on the right of the board but instead it goes down. I dont know how you could release a second game without at least streamlining this. I bet it works way better on computer, though.

DLC and the ability to buy cards is still here. Hopefully people who bought DLC for the original Magic learned their lesson; nobody is playing that game anymore because they decided to make yearly iterations. Its like buying DLC for a certain year of Madden. Thats stupid. Dont do that. And dont buy the DLC for this game.

AI is still clever but somewhat oblivious when you are playing against it, and dumb as a sack of bricks when it is on your team. They never coordinate, ever, and several times we could have won if hed just attacked but since you cant directly order them to do anything (why not?) we ended up losing. Thanks, buddy. You freaking suck.

Still heavily based on luck a lot of the time, but thats an inherent flaw in Magic: The Gathering, so I cant really pin it on this game.

Aaand, were done.

Despite my complaints, there is certainly a lot more content here than the first Magic XBLA game. More decks, longer single-player (including a "Revenge" campaign that keeps kicking my butt), more options, and a faster game. Its a pity they still havent done anything imaginative at all with this, simply sticking to the basics on nearly every level, but now that both this and last years version is out I can say to ignore that one and get this one. It isnt a big improvement, but its enough to render Magic 2011 or whatever redundant.

...until Magic 2013 comes out, so dont go buying this game yet. Hey, on an unrelated note, how about you do what Harmonix does with Rock Band and let us export decks? Maybe for like $1 (total. Not a deck. You greedy bastards.) since you have to monetize everything in this stupid franchise, but it would essentially add eight more decks and would make the game a lot funner.

Who am I kidding; then they couldnt sell three decks as DLC for like $5 a pop. My mistake. And as much as I hate this aspect of the game, its how the Magic TCG has worked since its inception, so Im preaching to the choir here.

Still, if you dig Magic, this is a decent run of it. If you hate Magic, you know what to do. Avoid and make fun of anybody who plays its hygiene.

Three out of five stars.

Now do this but with the Pokemon trading card game. Oh wait...
